Doing Business in the Provincial Park System

Saskatchewan provincial parks are home to a wide variety of visitor services made possible by longstanding private and public sector collaboration.  The private sector helps deliver high-quality services and facilities to park visitors.  Private lessees provide non-basic visitor services and recreational opportunities, such as rental accommodation, stores, golf courses, etc.  The Ministry of Tourism, Parks, Culture and Sport focuses on providing conservation and basic visitor services and programs.

Businesses operate in the provincial park system under a land lease or a business license that outlines the operating requirements and operators pay lease fees for the use of park land.
